Treebath Explorers

We created the Treebath Explorers outdoor programs to provide a means of exposing children to the benefits of Forest Therapy, while getting the outdoor time they need to thrive. 

In today’s world of technology, ensuring our kids get enough time outdoors is a growing concern for parents. While children reap many intangible benefits when they get fresh air, studies now show there are tangible effects, too. Being in nature stimulates children’s imagination and creativity, and reduces stress, depression and obesity.

Treebath Explorers is a curated, nature-based curriculum designed for schools and educational institutions. As a Certified Women-Owned Business (WBE) and an approved New York City Department of Education vendor, Treebath partners with schools to bring the benefits of outdoor learning to students everywhere. Our Explorers Curriculum is:

  • Easy to integrate into recess, after-school programs, or in-class activities

  • Designed for any environments, providing essential nature access to children even in urban areas

  • Evidence-based with research-backed activities accessible to all students

  • Structured around guided Circle Time, ensuring every child feels seen and heard

Our Explorers Curriculum


The Treebath Explorers Curriculum is thoughtfully designed to engage children with nature while ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. Rooted in the principles of forest therapy, our program blends hands-on exploration with playful elements from the Swedish Outdoor Association’s renowned children’s program. Through immersive outdoor experiences, children discover the wonders of nature, learn about plants and animals, and develop a lifelong respect for the world around them. Beyond fostering curiosity and confidence, our curriculum instills a deep sense of responsibility—for nature and for one another. Taught everywhere from Central Park in New York City to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, these arly experiences help shape resilient, mindful individuals who carry the benefits of nature with them for life.
